Are You Grieving?

Jesus Christ was friends 

with Mary and Martha and 

their brother, Lazarus. But 

Jesus was not there when 

Lazarus died. Here is what 

happened when Jesus 

Christ met Martha at the

tomb of Lazarus.

John 
11:21 Then said Martha 

unto Jesus, Lord, if thou 

hadst been here, my 

brother had not died. 

11:22 But I know, that 

even now, whatsoever 

thou wilt ask of God, God 

will give it thee. 

11:23 Jesus saith unto 

her, Thy brother shall 

rise again. 

11:24 Martha saith unto 

him, I know that he 

shall rise again in the 

resurrection at the last 

day. 

11:25 Jesus said unto her, 

I am the resurrection, 

and the life: he that 

believeth in me, 

though he were dead, 

yet shall he live: 

When people trust that 

Jesus Christ, the Sinless 

Son of God, died to pay 

for their sins and then 

rose from the grave, 

they immediately go 

into the presence of the 

Lord in heaven when 

they die! 

2 Corinthians 5:8  
We are confident, I say, 

and willing rather to be 

absent from the body, 

and to be present with 

the Lord.
