IMPORTANT NOTE TO
CHRISTIAN PARENTS:
Be aware that Amazon
Prime rates a lot of
Christian movies as
mature, meaning
that it is only for adults,
hinting that there is adult
content in them. I've
watched these movies
and there is no bad
language, sex, or nudity,
or any of that 'adult'
stuff. I know that some
movies are about subjects
not suitable for children
but Amazon Prime
has rated movies that are
only about the gospel of
salvation through faith in
Jesus Christ alone as
'mature'! I think Satan is
afraid someone will get
saved through these
movies!
Also Note: I am finding
that Amazon Prime has
sometimes changed the
movies I have watched
to now you have to pay
for them. One thing
that helps is if you go to
"More Payment Options"
you can sometimes rent
the movie for $1 less
than what is shown on
the front screen where
prices are listed.
IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER:
3-PART DOCUMENTARY:
A Lamp in the Dark [Part 1]
This is an exciting
documentary that unfolds
the fascinating "untold"
history of the Bible,
revealing critical information
often overlooked in modern
histories.
Tares Among the Wheat
Tares Among the Wheat
[Part 2] - A Sequel to A
Lamp in the Dark - Rome
& The History of Higher
Criticism - Most of what
today's Bible scholars
believe about manuscript
evidence is based on a
few events from the 19th
century, and the footnotes
in your Bible are the proof
of it.
Bridge to Babylon [Part 3] -
Rome, Ecumenism &
The Bible - Follow the story
of the Bible's controversial
history. See how the work
of Westcott and Hort inspired
various Bible Societies and
paved the way for the cause
of ecumenical unity between
Evangelical Protestants and
Rome.
30 Day Promise - What
would you do if you had
two months to live, a
failing marriage and a
broken home? This is the
scenario Heather is facing.
She is dying of cancer,
her husband is having an
affair and her children's
relationship with their
dad is nonexistent. To
change the direction of
her family, she comes up
with an unusual plan to
save her marriage and
re-establish a
relationship with God
in her family.
Back To Eden Film -
This excellent movie is
about Paul Gautschi,
founder of Back to Eden
Gardening. He teaches
sustainable organic
gardening methods that
are capable of being
implemented in diverse
climates around the world.
It's so amazing to see
how this type of
gardening requires so
much less watering and
weeding, and results in
vegetables that people testify
were actually
sweet-tasting because they
were grown naturally and
not with pesticides. Paul
also said that foods
grown naturally like God
intended them to grow
are more healthy for
people with autoimmune
conditions. He also uses
scripture verses and talks
about God as he teaches
us how to use sustainable
organic gardening.
Breakthrough: The Story
of James O. Fraser and
the Lisu People (34
minutes long) - In 1908,
a young English college
graduate gave up a
potential career and fame
to serve as a missionary
in the remote regions of
China. This is an excellent
movie showing how this
young man went through
trials while trying to share
Jesus Christ with the Lisu
people who worshiped
their ancestors (idols/devils)
and what finally brought
them out of their
paganism and into a
saving faith in Jesus Christ
alone for their salvation.

Fix It Boys - A movie that
is family friendly, and
Christian friendly. Two
brothers who are good at
fixing things try to help
a young girl's parents from
getting a divorce. The
search for answers to what
the "pearl of great price"
was in the Bible*. In
discovering the answer,
they help the girl and
her parents, learn about
God's forgiveness and
accepting Jesus Christ as their
Saviour.
*Matthew 13:45-13:46
[Jesus said:] Again, the
kingdom of heaven is like
unto a merchant man,
seeking goodly pearls:
Who, when he had found
one pearl of great price,
went and sold all that he
had, and bought it.
GOD'S OUTLAW - THE
STORY OF WILLIAM
TYNDALE - ONE OF THE
MOST WANTED MEN IN
ENGLAND AND ALL OF
EUROPE. PURSUED BY
KING HENRY VIII, LORD
CHANCELLOR SIR THOMAS
MORE AND THE POPE'S
PERSONAL LEGATE
CARDINAL WOLSEY, HE
DARTED ACROSS EUROPE
TO ELUDE CAPTURE. HE
WAS ALWAYS STRIVING
TO FINISH THE TASK
THAT OBSESSED HIM:
TRANSLATING THE BIBLE
INTO ENGLISH AND
PUBLISHING IT FOR HIS
FELLOW COUNTRYMEN.
God, Where Are You? - A
fighter blames God when
he loses everything.
Gold Through The Fire -
After his parents are
imprisoned for printing
Bibles and his younger
brother is put into an
orphanage, 17 year old
Peter escapes Russia to
find religious freedom in
America. He ends up
suffering religious
persecution for sharing his
faith in school, and how his
trial brings light to the truth
about freedom of religion
according to our
Constitution and Bill of
Rights. It is an awesome
testimony to the truth
about how fragile our
freedom of religion truly is.
Grace of God - Having lost
his faith many years ago,
Detective Bill Broadly is
called to investigate the
disappearance of the
local church's funds. As
he questions its various
church members, rumors
swirl as more congregants
learn about the theft. This
movie covers so many
subjects: God's command
not to steal, how the church
fund theft affected so many
people including the thief,
how the investigator learned
that not all Christians are
hypocrites and what it
means to be a Christian
and the message of
salvation from sin through
faith in Jesus Christ alone,
and more. The only part I
found disappointing was at
the very end of the movie when
the minister, after having
preached a good sermon
on God's Command not to
steal, spoiled it by ending by
saying that because of God's
Commandment, God was
saying it is okay for us to
own property. What? That
makes no sense. But other
than that, this was a good
movie.
Homeless for the holidays -
Homeless for the holidays -
A business executive loses
his job, has a hard time
finding a job or compassion
and ends up working in a
humiliating job at a burger
joint. Will faith and family be
enough to bring joy when
they are homeless for the
Christmas holidays?
In His Steps -
NEWLY ADDED
When a homeless man
interrupts the comfortable
routine of First Church of
Raymond, life will never
be the same for the apathetic
congregation. But as they
find themselves opposed by
family strife, church politics,
and scorned lovers, will they
be able to keep their
commitment, or will they be
dragged back into fruitless
lives? [The mention of
scorned lovers - There is
no nudity, sex, or bad or
suggestive language.]
Jericho Unearthed -
Archaeology proves that
the Bible is right about how
Jericho was destroyed!
John Hus - 100 years before
Martin Luther, John Hus's
relentless pursuit of God's
truth planted the seeds for
the Reformation. The beloved
pastor (priest) was
condemned as a heretic
for his uncompromising
belief in the final authority
of the Bible. He was burned
at the stake in 1415 (by the
Catholic Church), where he
died singing.
John Light - John Light is
one of the most dangerous
inmates in Arizona's state
penitentiary. After accepting
Jesus Christ in a prison Bible
study, he is anxious to share
his new faith with the outside
world upon release. However,
looking more like a thug than
a theologian, the outside
world is terrified of him.
Partnered with men who
have never thrown a punch
in their lives, John's real
battles are just beginning.
Johnny - Johnny's mom
was texting and a car ran
into her car and killed her
son. She could not get
over her guilt for several
years, neglecting her other
two children and her
husband. She kept Johnny's
room as it was and almost
worshiped his stuff. Her
husband brought home a
boy who was dying of leukemia
and the boy's strong Christian
faith led them to accept
Jesus Christ as Saviour and
forgiveness for herself. Johnny
believed he was on a mission
that God gave him. He and
his faith changed his classmate
who was bullying him, and it
changed his 'adopted' family!
It's an awesome movie about
faith in the midst of sorrow
and trials, and about God's
forgiveness.
John Wycliffe - The
Morning Star. An FYI: John
Wycliffe is not the Morning
Star as it says in this movie
title. That title was given to
Mr. Wycliffe by sinful
mankind. Jesus Christ
said that He is the bright
and "morning star":
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus
have sent mine angel to
testify unto you these
things in the churches.
I am the root and the
offspring of David, and
the bright and morning
star.
Here is an Amazon.com
online synopses about
this movie: Wycliffe's
greatest achievement was
the translation of the Bible
into English. One of
Europe's most renowned
philosophers and scholars,
John Wycliffe chose to serve
the common people. He
exposed the superstitions
that had displaced Biblical
doctrine in the medieval
church. Wycliffe took
enormous risks to provide
the Scriptures for the people.
The film provides valuable
insight into conditions in
the 14th-century
pre-Reformation church
and shows why Wycliffe is
hailed as the "Morningstar of
the Reformation." He set
the stage for later reformers
including Hus, Luther, and
Tyndale. This dramatic film
inspires faith and develops
appreciation for the treasure
of our Bible. Winner of
"Best Film of the Year"
Award from the
Christian Film
Distribution Association.

Letters to God - To me,
this is a 10 star movie!
It is based on a real life
story. Tyler is an
extraordinary 8 year old
boy armed with a strong
faith and courage as he
battles against brain
cancer. Surrounded by a
loving family and community,
Tyler's prayers take the
form of letters he mails
(through the post office) to
his ultimate pen pal, God!
Be sure and keep a box of
Kleenex handy while you
watch this awesome
true story of Tyler's
deep abiding faith and
his desire to share
Jesus Christ with
everyone he meets.
Modern Day Miracles -
Three children with
correctable disabilities,
living in the Dominican
Republic, Niger and the
Philippines, find healing
in hospitals of CURE
International. [I checked out
CURE International online
and found that is was
founded by Scott
Harrison (successful
orthopedic surgeon) and
his wife, Sally. Their first
hospital opened in 1998
and is now present in 14
countries, helping and
healing children with
physical disabilities. I also
found that in 2014
CURE International opened
the Tebow CURE hospital
in Davao City, Philippines.
Built with the support
from the Tim Tebow
Foundation, the hospital
brings pediatric orthopedic
care to the island of
Mindanao. (46 minutes long)

Sense of Urgency - When
Izzy, a rebellious teenager,
learns that she is adopted

her birth parents. The

taken over by hijackers, Izzy
soon discovers that her
captors are using her to get
ransom money from her

traumatic experience, Izzy

hair or know how to help his
three children without his
beautiful wife and her
unshakable faith in God.
Test of Faith - A college
student risks losing a
scholarship when he
defends his beliefs in
creation in opposition
to his professor.
The Fanny
Crosby Story - This is the
amazing biography of the
blind hymn writer, Fanny
Crosby. As the writer
of more than 10,000
hymns, all penned after
the age of 40, she is
credited with authoring
more verse than any human
in history. She wrote such
well known hymns as 'Safe
in the Arms of Jesus' after
her only child, a daughter,
died at a few months old.
She also wrote 'Blessed
Assurance' and 'Sweet
Hour of Prayer', and so
many more hymns
that most of us recognize
and are blessed by them.
The Healing -
When a young physician
slides into alcoholism
following his wife's and his
unborn baby's deaths,
God provides an ironic way
out. Excellent movie and
salvation message.

the story of Daniel
Rainwater, an everyday
guy whose life is falling
apart. As his marriage to
Sarah begins to crumble
when he loses his job and
thinking that life couldn't
get any worse, it does.
Bitter towards God and
going nowhere fast,
Daniel must learn to
trust God again before
he loses it all for good.
Unplanned - This movie was
rated 'R' when it came out
because the abortion industry
does not want young women
watching it and learning that
Planned Parenthood aborts
babies who are living and
active in their mother's
wombs, which is why they
never allow their pregnant
customers to see the
ultrasounds of their babies
moving in the womb!
Be aware that Amazon
Prime marks this movie as
'blocked due to
parental guidance controls'
so I had to put in our
password in in order to
watch the movie! Be
aware that what is done to
these tiny, living human
beings is shocking
because of the violence
done to them in order for
the abortion industry to
make money; but it
is also vital for young
women to know what truly
happens to their living baby
in order to abort him or her,
and also what will happen
to her own body and health
after having an abortion.
These truths are not
something the abortion
industry wants women to
know! This movie is well
worth watching and
sharing with everyone you
know!
