Look below at what Jesus Christ has done for each person who chooses to trust that Jesus died for their sins and rose from the dead. And this is just a small list!
Romans
10:9 That if thou shalt confess [to God in heaven] with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
You become a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ!
Galatians 3:26
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
You are redeemed (forgiven of your sins) because Jesus Christ shed his sinless blood on the cross for your sins and mine!
Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his [Jesus'] blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
We have peace with God because of our faith in Jesus Christ as our Saviour!
Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
We become a "new creature" once we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. The old things (the worldly, sinful things we once loved) are passed away. We now desire spiritual things (Bible study, witnessing to others about Jesus, living a godly life that is pleasing to God, etc.) that have heavenly rewards over worldly things.
Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We were bought with the price of Jesus Christ's blood*; so we should be glorifying God in our body and spirit, meaning by our words, thoughts, and actions.
1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price [Jesus Christ's blood]: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
As Christians, Jesus Christ will strengthen us to do God's will!
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Satan is continually going before God to accuse us every time we Christians sin; but Jesus Christ is our only mediator between us and God the Father in heaven!
Revelation
12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
1 Titus 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Jesus left us, his disciples, with his peace.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
When Jesus was resurrected back into heaven, he told his disciples (that includes us) that he was going to prepare a place for us in heaven where God has many mansions. Can you imagine what our home will look like when we get there if Jesus Himself has been preparing a place specially for us?
John
14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And that's just a tiny bit of what Jesus Christ has done for you and me. I bet that as you do your daily King James Bible study you will find many more to add to this list! If you make yourself a list it will encourage you on days when you are a bit discouraged by this corrupt world we live in. It helps to focus on Jesus and how powerful and how loving he is!
