People Fall At The Feet Of Jesus In Worship!

I noticed in my Bible
studies that it seems
that almost every time
people met Jesus
they fell down at
his feet in worship.
Now the Bible says
that only God is to
be worshiped. So
then when people
fell down at Jesus'
feet, they were
worshiping Jesus
as God!

Psalm 95:6
O come, let us worship
and bow down: let us
kneel before the LORD
our maker*.

*And since we know
that Jesus Christ is
our maker (creator)
according to the
following Bible verses,
then in the Psalm
shown above King
David is saying that
we should worship
and bow down to
Jesus Christ, our
maker/creator.

Colossians
1:14 In whom we
have redemption
through his [Jesus']
blood, even the
forgiveness of sins:

1:15 Who is the image
of the invisible God
the firstborn of every
creature:

1:16 For by him were
all things created
that are in heaven,
and that are in earth,
visible and invisible,
whether they be
thrones, or
dominions, or
principalities, or
powers: all
things were
created by him,
and for him:

When Satan tempted
Jesus in the desert, He
reminded Satan of the
Scriptures (Bible
verses) that say
only God is to be
worshiped!

Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered
and said unto him,
Get thee behind me,
Satan: for it is written
Thou shalt worship
the Lord thy God,
and him only shalt
thou serve.

Keep reading to see
that Jesus was
worshiped as God. All
these verses are
speaking of Jesus
Christ, our Lord
and Saviour of
those who have
accepted his death
and resurrection
for their sins.

Matthew 2:11
And when they were
come into the house,
they saw the young
child with Mary his
mother, and fell
down, and
worshipped him
[baby Jesus,
Saviour of the
world]: and when
they had opened
their treasures,
they presented
unto him gifts;
gold, and
frankincense, and
myrrh. Please note
that they only
worshiped Jesus,
not Mary!

Mark 3:11

And unclean spirits,
when they saw him,
fell down before
him, and cried,
saying, Thou art
the Son of God.

Mark 5:22
And, behold, there
cometh one of the
rulers of the
synagogue,
Jairus by name;
and when he
saw him, he fell
at his feet,

Mark 5:33
But the woman
fearing and trembling,
knowing what was
done in her, came
and fell down
before him, and
told him all the truth.

Luke 5:8
When Simon Peter
saw it [the miracle
Jesus did], he fell
down at Jesus'
knees, saying,
Depart from me;
for I am a sinful
man, O Lord.

Luke 5:12

And it came to pass,
when he was in a
certain city, behold
a man full of leprosy:
who seeing Jesus
fell on his face
and besought him,
saying, Lord, if thou
wilt, thou canst
make me clean.

Luke 8:28

When he saw Jesus,
he cried out, and
fell down before
him, and with a
loud voice said,
What have I to do
with thee, Jesus,
thou Son of God
most high? I
beseech thee,
torment me not.

Luke 8:41

And, behold, there
came a man named
Jairus, and he was
a ruler of the
synagogue: and
fell down at
Jesus' feet, and
besought him
that he would
come into his
house:

John 1:32

Then when Mary was
come where Jesus
was, and saw him,
she fell down at
his feet, saying
unto him, Lord, if
thou hadst been
here, my brother
had not died.

John

18:5 They answered
him, Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus saith unto them,
I am he. And Judas
also, which betrayed
him, stood with them.

18:6 As soon then as
he had said unto
them, I am he,
they went
backward, and
fell to the ground.

Revelation 5:8

And when he had
taken the book, the
four beasts and
four and twenty
elders fell down
before the Lamb
[See verse below*]
having every one of
them harps, and
golden vials full of
odours, which are
the prayers of saints.

*John 1:29

The next day John
seeth Jesus coming
unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb
of God, which taketh
away the sin of the
world.

Revelation

5:12 Saying with a
loud voice, Worthy is
the Lamb that was
slain to receive
power, and riches,
and wisdom, and
strength, and
honour, and glory,
and blessing.

5:13 And every creature
which is in heaven,
and on the earth,
and under the earth,
and such as are in
the sea, and all that
are in them, heard I
saying, Blessing,
and honour, and
glory, and power,
be unto him that
sitteth upon the
throne, and unto
the Lamb [the
Lord Jesus
Christ] for
ever and ever.

5:14 And the four
beasts said, Amen.
And the four and
twenty elders fell
down and
worshipped him
that liveth for
ever and ever.
