Matthew 24:21
For then shall be great
tribulation, such as
was not since the
beginning of the
world to this time,
no, nor ever
shall be.

God comforts us followers of the Lord
Jesus Christ with
these Bible verses
because God says
he will deliver us
from the WRATH
TO COME! And
God cannot lie!
(see Titus 1:2;
Numbers 23:19; and
Hebrews 6:18)!
1 Thessalonians 5:9
1 Thessalonians 5:9
FOR GOD HATH
(HAS) NOT
APPOINTED US
[BELIEVERS] TO
WRATH, BUT TO
OBTAIN
SALVATION BY
OUR LORD
JESUS CHRIST,
Romans
5:8 But God
commendeth his
love toward us, in
that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ
died for us.
5:9 Much more then,
being now justified
by his blood, we
shall be saved
from wrath
through him.
Here is why I believe
that we true Christians
(those saved by God's
grace and not by stuff
we sinful humans do)
will not go through
the great
tribulation period.
ASK YOURSELF
THESE QUESTIONS
AND SEE IF THEY
MAKE SENSE TO
YOU.
1. Why would our
loving heavenly
Father pour out
his wrath on
those of us who have
already repented of
our sins and accepted
Jesus Christ’s blood
payment to cover
payment to cover
ALL of our sins
FOREVER?
Hebrews 10:12
But this man [Jesus
Christ], after he had
offered one sacrifice
for sins for ever,
for sins for ever,
sat down on the
right hand of God;
2. Why would God
pour out his wrath
on his Bride (the
church) and then
take 'her' to the
marriage supper
of the Lamb?
Would you feel
like eating after
God's wrath was
poured out on
you? What kind
of marriage
would that be?
In the following verse
God says we who
are called to the
marriage supper
of the Lamb
(believers) are
blessed. If God
poured out his
wrath on you
before the
marriage supper,
how blessed
would you feel?
Revelation 19:9
And he saith unto
me, Write, Blessed
are they which are
called unto the
called unto the
marriage supper
of the Lamb. And
he saith unto me,
These are the true
sayings of God.
3. If we Christians
were to suffer
God’s wrath that
would mean:
a) that God did
not believe that
His Sinless Son's
death and
resurrection for
the sins of the
world were enough
to pay for our sins
in full, and that we
who have accepted
Jesus Christ as our
Saviour would have
to suffer God's wrath
in order to finish
paying for our sins!
1 John 2:2
And he ["Jesus
Christ the
righteous"] is
the propitiation
[payment in
full] for our
sins: and not for
ours only, but also
for the sins of the
whole world.
b) that God allowed
his precious Sinless
Son to be tortured
and nailed to a
cross to suffer and
die for no reason
if we have to go
through God's
wrath to pay for
our sins!
Galatians 2:21
I do not frustrate the grace of God:
for if righteousness
come by the law
[our good deeds],
then Christ is
then Christ is
dead in vain.
c) that there was no
c) that there was no
reason for Jesus Christ
to be tortured and
nailed to a cross to
die for our sins if
God were going to
punish us for our
sins with his wrath
anyway!
God’s Word says
God’s Word says
that we believers
in Christ have
1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God hath not
everlasting life;
and that God’s
wrath is only
poured out on
those who have
rejected Jesus
Christ as their
Christ as their
Saviour!
John 3:36
He that believeth
on the Son [Jesus
Christ] hath
everlasting life: and
he that believeth not
the Son shall not see
life; but the wrath of
God abideth on him.
But for believers,
God tells us a
number of times
(in verses below)
that we will be saved
from the wrath to
come! This is an
come! This is an
awesome message
of hope for us as
believers in Christ,
and should encourage
and should encourage
us to live godly lives
as ambassadors of
Jesus Christ to the
unbelieving world.
Also it should
Also it should
encourage us to
share with everyone
how to avoid God's
how to avoid God's
wrath by trusting in
God's grace (His
unmerited favor) by
faith that Jesus
Christ lived a sinless
life and died to pay
our sin debt in full and
that God raised Him
that God raised Him
from the dead. And
this is the ONLY way
to get into God's
Holy Heaven! That
way your friends and
family will avoid hell,
will go to heaven when
they die, and will avoid
going through God's
wrath that will come
wrath that will come
upon the world
during the great
tribulation period.
Here are more
tribulation period.
Here are more
verses that prove
we believers will
NOT go through "the
wrath to come"
(the great
tribulation).
Romans 5:9
Much more then,
Romans 5:9
Much more then,
being now justified
by his [Jesus
Christ's] blood, we
Christ's] blood, we
shall be saved from
wrath through him.
1 Thessalonians 1:10
And to wait for his Son
1 Thessalonians 1:10
And to wait for his Son
from heaven, whom
he raised from the
dead, even Jesus,
which delivered
us from the wrath
to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9
For God hath not
appointed us to
wrath, but to obtain
salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ,
And if any of you dear
readers have not yet
asked Jesus Christ to
be your personal
Saviour in order to
be saved from your
sins and go to heaven
when you die, God's
Word, the King James
Bible, tells us how.
How Can I Get To Heaven?
How can you be
saved from your sins
saved from your sins
and know that you will
go to heaven when
you die? God's Holy
Word, the King James
Bible, tells us how:
Agree with God in
heaven that you are
a sinner and need a
Saviour. GOD SAYS
WE ARE ALL
SINNERS. But keep
reading because
there is Good News
for you:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned,
and come short of the
glory of God;
Believe that Jesus
Christ, the Sinless Son
of God, shed his blood
on the cross to pay
for your sins (and
mine). Three days later
He rose from the dead.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth
his love toward us, in
that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ
died for us.
Repent of trusting in
anything or anyone
other than Jesus
Christ (i.e. baptism,
good works, money/tithes,
man-made church rules
or traditions, or religious
ceremonies) to save you.
Titus 3:5
Not by works of
righteousness which we
have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy
Ghost;
Jesus said that we do
not get to heaven by our
good works (stuff we
have done). See verses
7:22 and 7:23 below!
Matthew
7:21 Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the
will of my Father which
is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to
me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy
name? and in thy
name have cast
out devils? and in
thy name done
many wonderful
works?
7:23 And then will I
profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.
Accept God's Free
Gift of eternal life
through his Sinless
Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a free gift
to you, but it cost Jesus
Christ his life! You do
not have to work to
earn a Gift - It is free!
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of
God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ
our Lord.
God tells us that as
many as received
Jesus Christ as their
Saviour and believed
on his name (trusted
him as Saviour), he
gave them power to
become the sons
(and daughters) of
God the Father in
heaven!
John 1:12
But as many as received
him [trusted Jesus], to
them gave he power to
become the sons of God,
even to them that
believe on his name.
So, if you confessed to
God in heaven that you
are a sinner in need of
a Saviour, and you
believe that Jesus Christ
died for your sins and
that God raised him
from the dead, then
you shall be saved.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.
And when you die, you
will go straight to heaven
to be with Jesus Christ
forever and ever! The
following Bible verse
is one of my favorites.
It gave me comfort when
I went through double
breast cancer surgery
for I knew that if I died
on the operating table
I would immediately be
in heaven with Jesus!
Knowing that is why I
no longer fear what
comes after death.
What freedom there is
in knowing that.
2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say,
and willing rather to be
absent from the body,
and to be present with
the Lord.
One note to all dear
Catholics: The Catholic
church says that it is
wrong to believe that
you can know you are
saved before you die.
Please think about
this: God is a God of
love. After all he sent
his Son to die for your
sins so you could be
with him in heaven for
eternity! That is love!
Why would a God of love
want you to worry all of
your life whether you will
go to heaven or hell when
you die? God in heaven
wants us to have peace
and joy in this life as we
live for him and draw
others to him as their
Saviour. Only a cruel
God would want us
worried and stressed
about what comes after
death. But GOD LOVES
YOU and wants you to
have peace knowing that
you are saved now and
can know now that you
are going to heaven when
you die! Please trust your
loving heavenly Father's
Holy Word (the King James
Bible) when God tells you
that you will be with Him
after death if you trusted
Jesus Christ as your
Saviour!
And now that you have
become a Christian, it
is important to learn how
to live a life that glorifies
God in heaven who gave
you the Gift of salvation.
