The Bible on Our Leaders - UPDATED

First and foremost, God
(Christ Jesus) wants
believers who are
called by his name
(Christians) to
humble ourselves,
pray, seek him, and
turn from our wicked
ways; and THEN he
will hear our prayers
and forgive our sin,
and heal our land as
it says in the following
Bible verse.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are
called by my name, shall
humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from
heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal
their land.

Please keep reading
and pray for America.
America has many sins to
account to God for, i.e.,
the abortion industry
killing countless innocent
lives for profit; same-sex
marriages that are a slap
in the face to God who
created one man for one
woman; legalizing sins i.e.
pornography, etc. So,
I pray that America will
ask God for forgiveness
of our many sins so
He can heal our
land!

Proverbs 11:11
By the blessing of the
upright the city is
exalted: but it is
overthrown by the
mouth of the wicked.

God wants us to pray
for our leaders that
they would trust Him
to guide them by His
Holy Preserved
Word (the King
James Bible).

1 Timothy
2:1 I exhort therefore,
that, first of all,
supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be
made for all men;

2:2 For kings, and
for all that are in
authority; that we
may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all
godliness and
honesty.

2:3 For this is good
and acceptable in
the sight of God
our Saviour;

God has power and
authority to 'set up'
or to remove rulers.

Psalm 75:7
But God is the judge:
he putteth down one, and
setteth up another.

Daniel 2:21
And he changeth the
times and the seasons:
he removeth kings,
and setteth up kings: he
giveth wisdom unto the
wise, and knowledge to
them that know
understanding:

But, if we choose
leaders who do not
trust God and His
Holy Word to guide
their lives, then
He will let us have
our own way, and
we will suffer the
consequences of
our sin by being
ruled by godless
people.

Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous
are in authority, the
people rejoice: but
when the wicked
beareth rule, the
people mourn.

As you can tell by
this next statement
I wrote this when we
had a President who
cared about all the
people and loved
America, our
constitution, and
our freedoms of
speech and religion.
We need to pray
that those in power
who are not working
for us (we pay their
salaries) are removed
from office and godly
men and women will
replace them. But God
tells us to pray for
our leaders, whether
we believe in them or
not. Here is God's
command to pray
for our leaders for it is
good in God's
sight that we do this -
read these verses very
thoughtfully. It is what
God wants us to do.

1 Timothy
2:1 I exhort therefore,
that, first of all,
supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be
made for all men;

2:2 For kings, and for
all that are in authority;
that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable
life in all godliness
and honesty.

2:3 For this is good and
acceptable in the sight
of God our Saviour;

Also God says we
should not rejoice
when our enemy' falls.
Read why the writer of
this Proverb says that.

Proverbs
24:17 Rejoice NOT when
thine enemy falleth, and
let not thine heart be
glad when he stumbleth:

24:18 Lest the LORD
see it, and it displease
him, and he turn away
his wrath from him.

I thank God often for the
privilege of having grown
up in a country where we
have many freedoms.
But freedom is not
free, and many brave
Americans fought
so we could all enjoy
those many freedoms
(i.e., the freedom to
vote, the freedom of
speech, the freedom of
religion, etc.), freedoms
that people from other
countries around the
world would love to
have! And God bless
our military!

Thank you heavenly
Father for this
wonderful, free
country that we live in -
America. Please, dear
LORD, I pray, forgive
us of our sins, and
bring us back to faith
in you and your Son
Jesus Christ to guide
and lead us in the
way you want us to go!

GOD BLESS
AMERICA, OUR FLAG,
OUR CONSTITUTION,
OUR BILL OF RIGHTS,
AND MOST OF ALL
BLESS YOU AND
THANK YOU, LORD
FOR ALL OF THESE
BLESSINGS FROM
YOU!

James 1:17
Every good gift and
every perfect gift is
from above, and
cometh down from
the Father of lights,
with whom is no
variableness, neither
shadow of turning.
