Should Christians Vote?

The answer is YES!
Christians should vote!
Why? Because if you do
not vote, then people who
are anti-biblical values,
anti-Christian, pro
abortionists, anti-God,
anti-Jesus Christ,
anti-Constitution,
anti-Bible, anti-free speech
rights, anti-religious
freedom rights, anti
2nd amendment rights,
etc., will get into office
and will enact laws that
will affect your life and
the lives of your families,
your communities, your
state, and this country!

The only one
who can
prevent those ungodly
people from getting
elected and creating
laws that govern your
life is YOU!

Please keep
reading to
see what God says
about voting for
leaders worthy to
govern them!

Do not think that your
one vote does not matter.
It does! Many elections
have been won by a
small margin. God has
shown us in his Holy
Word (the KJV) that
the early church did
vote for elected
leaders that would
govern them.

And before you vote, pray
for those godly candidates
to get elected who will
uphold Biblical principles
and protect our God-given
rights of freedom of
religion and FREEDOM
OF SPEECH. Please read
further to find out why it
is so important.

Here are examples
from the Bible that tell
us about believers voting.
They were later called
Christians - see
Acts 11:26 below.

The early church
voted on, and prayed
for, God to tell them
who should be the
godly replacement
for Judas Iscariot
(who betrayed Jesus
Christ and then
hanged himself).

Acts
1:23 And they
appointed two, Joseph
called Barsabas,
who was surnamed
Justus, and
Matthias.

1:24 And they
prayed, and said,
Thou, Lord, which
knowest the hearts
of all men, shew
whether of these
two thou hast
chosen,

1:25 That he may
take part of this
ministry and
apostleship,
from which Judas
by transgression
fell, that he might
go to his own
place.

1:26 And they
gave forth their lots
[votes]; and the lot
fell upon Matthias;
and he was
numbered with the
eleven apostles.

The early church
also voted to install
men into the
positions of
deacons and
other leaders
in the church.

Acts
14:23 And when
they had ordained
them elders in every
church, and had
prayed with
fasting, they
commended*
them to the Lord,
on whom they
believed.

The early church
also voted in order
to choose godly
people "worthy
of double honor"
(see verse below),
who would lead
them in accordance
with God's Word.

1 Timothy 5:17
Let the elders that
rule well be counted
worthy of double
honour, especially
they who labour in
the word and
doctrine.

SO, IF YOU DO NOT
VOTE godly PEOPLE
INTO OFFICE, how
will those "worthy
of double honor"
get a chance to
stand up for our
religious rights and
free speech rights?

The Bible also tells us
that we are to pray
for our leaders. If you
have not bothered to
vote for godly people
to lead us, how can
you trust them to
protect your rights?

1 Timothy

2:1 I exhort
therefore,
that, first of all,
supplications,
prayers,
intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be
made for all men;

2:2 For kings, and
for all that are in
authority; that we
may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in
all godliness and
honesty.

2:3 For this is good
and acceptable in
the sight of GOD
OUR SAVIOUR;

God also tells us to
obey those who have
rule over us. If you do
not vote; then do not
complain when your
rights and freedoms
are taken from you
because you allowed
ungodly people to be
voted into positions of
power to enact
legislation that governs
what you can and
cannot do!

Hebrews

13:17 Obey them that
have the rule over you,
and submit [yield]
yourselves: for they
watch for your souls, as
they that must give
account, that they may
do it with joy, and not
with grief: for that is
unprofitable for you.

America has turned
away from God, and
if we don't vote people
into office who govern
in obedience to God's
Holy Word (the King
James Bible), then the
religious freedoms
and the right to free
speech and freedom
of religion which we
have now under the
Constitution will go
away, and we will be
to blame for that loss

Just because we look
forward to Jesus Christ
raising us up to heaven
before God pours out his
wrath on the world who
has rejected His Sinless
Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ as their Saviour,
that does not mean
that we are not to be
good citizens
while we are waiting
for Him to take us home
to heaven - and being
a good citizen includes
voting godly people into
office to protect the
'constitutional republic'
God in heaven has
given to us!

Titus 2:13
Looking for that
blessed hope, and the
glorious appearing of
the great God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ;

And that means that we
should vote for those
leaders who will protect
our rights to freedom of
religion and freedom
of speech so that we
can continue to share
the gospel of Jesus
Christ with others as
Jesus commanded us
to do before He was
resurrected back
into heaven. And that
means that we can share
the gospel outside of our
churches! We need to
preserve the laws our
founding fathers gave
us in the Constitution!
Only can we preserve
our God-given rights
if we vote for those
who will protect those
rights!

Mark
16:15 And he [Jesus]
said unto them [the
disciples includes us],
Go ye into all the
world, and preach
[share] the gospel
[the death, burial
and resurrection of
Jesus from the dead
for our sins]
to every creature.

We will not be
able to share the
gospel of salvation
through faith in Jesus
Christ alone IF ungodly
law makers tell us it
is illegal to preach,
pray or talk about
Jesus Christ outside
of our churches!

That is how
important your
vote is!
