Without Blood There Is No Remission Of Sins!

Words in Bold in Scriptures
are for emphasis.

There are many Bible
verses below that show
us that we cannot be
saved apart from belief
that Jesus Christ shed
his sinless blood on the
cross to pay for our sins.
But, why does the Bible
talk so much about blood?
Why is blood so significant?
Well, here is how it all
began...

In the Garden of Eden
God told Adam that if he
ate of the tree of the
knowledge of good and
evil that he would die.
Well, Eve disobeyed
God and then tempted
her husband to do the
same. I have heard people
ask, "Why didn't Adam
and Eve die immediately
after eating the forbidden
fruit when God said they
would die if they
disobeyed him?" The
answer is that when they
ate the forbidden fruit,
they suddenly were no
longer innocent. Before
their sin they were naked
and not ashamed (Genesis
2:25). But after they sinned,
they felt guilt and shame
and covered their
nakedness with leaves
(Genesis 3:7). When God
discovered they had
sinned against him, instead
of killing them immediately,
he killed two innocent
animals (shed their blood) to
make skins to cover
Adam and Eve's now
sinful bodies. In other
words, two innocent
animals' blood was shed
to temporarily cover
Adam and Eve's sin! It
was a picture of what
was to be...In the Old
Testament, the Jews
killed flawless innocent
lambs and other
animals to temporarily
cover their sins. Those
acts were pointing ahead
to when God would
make a once for all
time sacrifice of innocent
blood - God the Father
in heaven would sacrifice
his only begotten Sinless
Son, Jesus Christ, to die
in our place to pay for
our sins at Calvary!
That is why you
cannot have salvation
without shed blood!
Jesus Christ's shed
SINLESS blood was
the final payment for
the sins of the world.

Matthew 26:28 (Jesus:)
For this is my blood of
the new testament, which
is shed for many for the
remission [payment] of
sins.

Romans
5:8 But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

5:9 Much more then, being
now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from
wrath through him.

1 Peter
1:18 Forasmuch as ye know
that ye were not redeemed
with corruptible things, as
silver and gold, from your
vain conversation received
by tradition from your
fathers;

1:19 But with the
precious blood of
Christ, as of a lamb
without blemish and
without spot:

Colossians
1:12 Giving thanks unto
the Father [in heaven],
which hath made us
meet [fit] to be partakers
of the inheritance of the
saints in light:

1:13 Who hath delivered us
from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into
the kingdom of his dear
Son:

1:14 In whom we have
redemption through his
blood, even the
forgiveness of sins:

Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are
by the law purged with
blood; and without
shedding of blood is
no remission [of sin].

Neither by the blood of
goats and calves, but by
his [Jesus Christ's] own
blood he entered in once
into the holy place,
having obtained eternal
redemption for us.

But if we walk in the light,
as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another,
and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin.

And from Jesus Christ, who
is the faithful witness, and
the first begotten of the
dead, and the prince of
the kings of the earth. Unto
him that loved us, and
washed us from our
sins in his own blood,

Revelation 5:9
And they sung a new song,
saying, Thou art worthy to
take the book, and to open
the seals thereof: for thou
[Jesus Christ] wast slain,
and hast redeemed us to
God by thy blood out of
every kindred, and tongue,
and people, and nation;

John 1:29
The next day John [the
Baptist] seeth Jesus
coming unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the
sin of the world.

Revelation 7:14
And I said unto him, Sir,
thou knowest. And he said
to me, These are they
which came out of great
tribulation, and have
washed their robes, and
made them white in
the blood of the Lamb
[Jesus Christ].
