These Bible verses
are commands from
the Lord Jesus Christ
about how to treat
means that if Jesus
Christ, the Son of God,
was willing to do a
servant's job of washing
his disciples' feet, then
we, his followers,
should also be willing
to humble ourselves
and do even lowly
jobs for other people.

John 13:14
If I then, your Lord and
Master, have washed
your feet; ye also ought
to wash one another's
feet.

That ye love one

loved you.
Jesus Christ tells us in
Jesus Christ tells us in
these next verses how
to treat our enemies.
Yikes! Do I do all of
that? (See verse
5:44)
Matthew
5:43 Ye have heard that
it hath been said, Thou
shalt love thy neighbour,
and hate thine enemy.
5:44 But I say unto you,
Love your enemies,
bless them that curse
you, do good to them
that hate you, and
pray for them which
despitefully use you,
and persecute you;
5:45 That ye may be the
children of your Father
which is in heaven: for
he maketh his sun to
rise on the evil and on
the good, and sendeth
rain on the just and on
the unjust.
Jesus Christ tells us that
if we do not forgive other
people for their sins
against us then God the
Father in heaven will
not forgive us of our
sins! Yikes! Do I do
that?
Matthew
6:14 For if ye forgive men
their trespasses [sins],
your heavenly Father
will also forgive you:
6:15 But if ye forgive
not men their
trespasses, neither
will your Father
forgive your
trespasses.
Jesus Christ tells us to
Jesus Christ tells us to
be merciful to others.
Am I merciful to
everyone, even to the
people who are not
very likable or even
mean? But, Jesus said
that if we are merciful
we shall obtain mercy
(from God).
Matthew
Matthew
5:7 Blessed are the
merciful: for they shall
obtain mercy.
Now for some good news! If
you have not done so, and
would like to have your
sins forgiven and know you

how to do that.
