that God, who
"keepeth thee" does
not sleep or slumber!
Psalms
121:3 He will not suffer
Psalms
121:3 He will not suffer
thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee
will not slumber.
121:4 Behold, he that
121:4 Behold, he that
keepeth Israel shall
neither slumber nor
sleep.
Please keep reading
because some
skeptics are
questioning God's
verse 23 (below)
shows a contradiction
in the Bible, and that
God does sleep.
Wrong! Read the
whole Psalm
in context and you
will see that this
verse is showing that
it was written about
people who were
questioning why God
did not act in their
behalf when they
wanted Him to,
and so, they are
telling God what
to do! - to rise up
and help them.
Psalm 44:23
Awake, why sleepest
Psalm 44:23
Awake, why sleepest
thou, O Lord? arise,
cast us not off for ever.
God does not sleep!
Our human beings'
bodies require sleep
to rejuvenate
ourselves for the
next day. But, God is
a Spirit, and has no
need of sleeping.
