The Church Has Not Replaced Israel!

What does the God's Holy
Word, the King James Bible
have to say about that?

'Replacement Theology'
is the belief that the
Jewish people are no
longer God's chosen
people because in
Jesus Christ's day
many of the Jewish
religious leaders and
some of the people
rejected Him as their
Messiah and consented
to his death. This theology
also believes that the
'church' has replaced
Israel. But is that what the
Bible teaches? Let's find out.

First, let me say it was not
the Jewish people who
killed Jesus! We all killed
Jesus! He came to suffer,
die, and be raised again
for the sins of the world
and that includes YOUR
SINS AND MINE! If it
were not for OUR sins,
Jesus Christ would not
have chosen to die FOR
US and be raised from
the dead! So, please, let
us not not blame the
Jews for His death.
JESUS CHRIST CAME
TO EARTH TO DIE
FOR THE SINS OF
ALL OF US - YOU
AND ME INCLUDED!

Now on to the subject
of this Bible study.
The following Bible verse
shows that God in heaven
chose the Jewish people
to be special to Him.

Bold in Bible verses
is for emphasis.

Deuteronomy 7:6
For thou art an holy people
unto the LORD thy God:
the LORD thy God hath
chosen thee to be a
special people unto
himself, above all people
that are upon the face of
the earth.

God made an everlasting
(forever) covenant with
Abram (later God renamed
him Abraham), and he
repeated that everlasting
covenant with Abraham's
son Isaac, and with
Abraham's grandson,
Jacob (whom God later
renamed Israel) and the
covenant was extended to
'their seed' (their Jewish
ancestors). Please keep
reading. It gets better.

Genesis 15:18
In the same day the LORD
made a covenant with Abram,
saying, Unto thy seed have I
given this land, from the river
of Egypt unto the great river,
the river Euphrates:

There is no verse in the Bible
that says God went back on
His Word to the Jews just
because some of the Jewish
religious leaders and some
of the Jews rejected Jesus
Christ as their Messiah
/Saviour during his earthly
ministry!

When Jesus created the
church it was made up of
all Jewish believers. Also at
that time the Scriptures
(Old and New Testaments)
were all written by Jewish
men. And our Lord and
Saviour, Jesus Christ, was
a Jew, grew up being taught
from and preached from the
Old Testament Scriptures
that were written by Jews!

The Bible says God made a
forever covenant with the
Jews! God says this
covenant with the Jews
is forever over and over
in His Word; and God
cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Here
are just a few of those
examples of this forever
covenant between God
and the Jews...

Genesis 17:7
And I will establish
my covenant between
me and thee and thy
seed after thee in their
generations for an
everlasting covenant,
to be a God unto thee,
and to thy seed after
thee.

Genesis 17:19
And God said, Sarah thy
wife shall bear thee a
son indeed; and thou shalt
call his name Isaac: and I
will establish my covenant
with him for an
everlasting covenant,
and with his seed after
him.

Exodus 2:24
And God heard their
groaning, and God
remembered his
covenant with Abraham,
with Isaac, and with Jacob.

Even in the latter days
(the End times during
the Great Tribulation)
God will not forget His
FOREVER covenant
with Israel (the Jews)
because they are going
to turn back to God and
accept Jesus Christ as
their Messiah (Saviour).

Deuteronomy
4:30 When thou art in
tribulation, and all these
things are come upon thee,
even in the latter days, if
thou turn to the LORD thy
God, and shalt be obedient
unto his voice;

4:31 (For the LORD thy
God is a merciful God;)
he will not forsake thee,
neither destroy thee,
nor forget the covenant
of thy fathers which he
sware unto them.

Once again, God
repeats that this
covenant will last
forevermore!

Ezekiel
37:26 Moreover I will
make a covenant of peace
with them; it shall be an
everlasting covenant with
them: and I will place them,
and multiply them, and will
set my sanctuary in the
midst of them for evermore.

37:27 My tabernacle also
shall be with them: yea, I
will be their God, and they
shall be my people.

37:28 And the heathen
shall know that I the LORD
do sanctify Israel, when my
sanctuary shall be in the
midst of them for evermore.

When Israel confesses their
sins, and humbles themselves
before God, He will remember
His everlasting covenant with
them (see verse 42).

Leviticus
26:40 If they shall confess
their iniquity, and the iniquity
of their fathers, with their
trespass which they
trespassed against me,
and that also they have
walked contrary unto me;

26:41 And that I also have
walked contrary unto them,
and have brought them into
the land of their enemies;
if then their uncircumcised
hearts be humbled, and
they then accept of the
punishment of their iniquity:

26:42 Then will I remember
my covenant with Jacob
[renamed Israel by God],
and also my covenant with
Isaac, and also my covenant
with Abraham will I
remember; and I will
remember the land.

26:43 The land [Israel] also
shall be left of them, and
shall enjoy her sabbaths,
while she lieth desolate
without them: and they shall
accept of the punishment
of their iniquity: because,
even because they despised
my judgments, and because
their soul abhorred my
statutes.

26:44 And yet for all that,
when they be in the land
of their enemies, I will not
cast them away, neither will
I abhor them, to destroy
them utterly, and to break
my covenant with them: for
I am the LORD their God.

26:45 But I will for their
sakes remember the
covenant of their ancestors,
whom I brought forth out of
the land of Egypt in the sight
of the heathen, that I might
be their God: I am the
LORD.

1 Kings 6:13
And I will dwell among the
children of Israel, and will
not forsake my people
Israel [the Jews].

Jeremiah
32:38 And they shall be my
people, and I will be their
God:

32:39 And I will give them
one heart, and one way,
that they may fear me for
ever, for the good of them,
and of their children after
them:

32:40 And I will make an
everlasting covenant with
them, that I will not turn
away from them, to do them
good; but I will put my fear in
their hearts, that they shall
not depart from me.

Jesus sent His twelve
original disciples to preach
the gospel of salvation to
the house of Israel, the
Jews.

Matthew
10:5 These twelve Jesus
sent forth, and commanded
them, saying, Go not into
the way of the Gentiles
[non-Jews], and into any
city of the Samaritans
enter ye not:

10:6 But go rather to the
lost sheep of the house
of Israel [Jews].

10:7 And as ye go, preach,
saying, The kingdom of
heaven is at hand.

Jesus came to bring
salvation to the 'house of
Israel', the Jews.

Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said,
I am not sent but unto the
lost sheep of the house of
Israel.

During Jesus' ministry on
earth many Jews would not
believe that He was their
Messiah (Saviour) because
they were looking for a
Messiah who would save
them from Roman
oppression. They were
looking for a king. But,
because of their unbelief
at that time that Jesus was
the Son of God come from
heaven to die for their sins
as it says in the Old
Testament, that salvation
was then offered to us,
the non-Jewish people
(what the Bible calls
Gentiles). But God never
forgot that He had made
an everlasting covenant
with Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob and their
descendants, the Jewish
people!

God also says that He will
make a new covenant with
Israel (the Jews) in the
Last Days. God will put His
law on their hearts and they
shall be His people; and
they will accept Jesus
Christ (Yeshua) as their
Messiah/Saviour.

Jeremiah
31:31 Behold, the days come,
saith the LORD, that I will
make a new covenant with
the house of Israel, and with
the house of Judah:

31:32 Not according to the
covenant that I made with
their fathers in the day that
I took them by the hand to
bring them out of the land
of Egypt; which my
covenant they brake,
although I was an husband
unto them, saith the LORD:

31:33 But this shall be the
covenant that I will make with
the house of Israel; After
those days, saith the LORD,
I will put my law in their
inward parts, and write it in
their hearts; and will be
their God, and they shall be
my people.

The Jews ('Israel') are
temporarily blind until
"the fullness of the Gentiles
come in", or when this Church
Age ends and Christian
believers have been whisked
out of the earth into the clouds
by Jesus Christ to be taken to
heaven (what some call the
Rapture), then the Jewish
people will turn back to God
again; and God will then
keep His forever covenant
with His chosen people,
the Jews!

Romans
11:25 For I would not,
brethren, that ye should
be ignorant of this mystery,
lest ye should be wise in
your own conceits; that
blindness in part is
happened to Israel, until
the fulness of the
Gentiles be come in.

11:26 And so all Israel
shall be saved: as it is
written, There shall come
out of Sion the Deliverer,
and shall turn away
ungodliness from Jacob
[the Jews]:

11:27 For this is my covenant
unto them, when I shall take
away their sins.

In the book of Revelation
it says that during the
seven years of the Great
Tribulation 144,000 of
the children of Israel
(Jews) will be sealed
to protect them before
the wrath of God will
be poured out upon
the earth:

Revelation
7:1 And after these things I
saw four angels standing on
the four corners of the earth,
holding the four winds of the
earth, that the wind should
not blow on the earth, nor on
the sea, nor on any tree.

7:2 And I saw another angel
ascending from the east,
having the seal of the living
God: and he cried with a loud
voice to the four angels, to
whom it was given to hurt
the earth and the sea,

7:3 Saying, Hurt not the
earth, neither the sea, nor
the trees, till we have sealed
the servants of our God in
their foreheads.

7:4 And I heard the number
of them which were sealed:
and there were sealed an
hundred and forty and four
thousand of all the tribes
of the children of Israel
[the Jews].

John, who wrote the book
of Revelation, was shown a
vision of the new heaven
and the new earth. He also
saw the new Jerusalem,
the holy city, and on the
gates of the city were
written the names of the
twelve tribes of Israel
(the Jews), NOT the names
of the Churches! And
because it is impossible
for Holy God to lie (see
Hebrews 6:18), what He
has promised in the Bible
will happen!

Revelation
21:1 And I saw a new
heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the
first earth were passed
away; and there was no
more sea.

21:2 And I John saw the
holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out
of heaven, prepared as a
bride adorned for her
husband.

Revelation
21:10 And he carried me
away in the [Holy] spirit to
a great and high mountain,
and shewed me that great
city, the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven
from God,

21:11 Having the glory of
God: and her light was like
unto a stone most
precious, even like a
jasper stone, clear as
crystal;

21:12 And had a wall great
and high, and had twelve
gates, and at the gates
twelve angels, and names
written thereon, which are
the names of the twelve
tribes of the children of
Israel [Jews]:

And, the following Bible
verses show how strongly God
feels about how we treat the
Jews and the land of Israel!

Genesis 12:3
And I will bless them that
bless thee, and curse him
that curseth thee: and in thee
shall all families of the earth
be blessed.

Psalm 122:6
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem: they shall
prosper that love thee.

Remember this:

THE MESSIAH, OUR
SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST,
WAS JEWISH.

JESUS CHRIST WAS
RAISED IN A JEWISH
HOME, HE CELEBRATED
JEWISH FEASTS, AND
TAUGHT IN THE JEWISH
TEMPLES AND
SYNAGOGUES FROM
JEWISH (HEBREW)
SCRIPTURES (WHAT
WE NON-JEWS CALL THE
OLD TESTAMENT).

THE ORIGINAL TWELVE
DISCIPLES JESUS CHRIST
CHOSE TO SPREAD THE
GOSPEL OF SALVATION
AROUND THE WORLD
WERE JEWISH.

JESUS CHRIST TAUGHT OUT
OF THE OLD TESTAMENT
OF THE BIBLE WHICH
CAME FROM THE HOLY-
SPIRIT-INSPIRED
WRITINGS OF JEWISH
MEN (THE NEW
TESTAMENT HAD NOT YET
BEEN WRITTEN, BUT
WOULD LATER BE
WRITTEN, ALSO BY
JEWISH MEN,
ALTHOUGH I COULD NOT
FIND WHETHER DOCTOR
LUKE WAS A JEW OR
NOT.

THE ORIGINAL CHURCH
THAT JESUS CHRIST
CREATED WAS MADE UP
INITIALLY OF ALL JEWISH
BELIEVERS!

JESUS CHRIST SAID HE
CAME TO SPREAD THE
GOSPEL OF SALVATION
TO THE JEWS FIRST.

Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said, I
am not sent but unto the lost
sheep of the house of Israel.

We need to be grateful to the
Jews for so many reasons:

The Jews gave us our
precious Saviour, Jesus
Christ.

The Jews gave us our
amazing Holy Bible that
was given by men who
were inspired by God's
Holy Spirit to write God's
Words for us.

The original Jewish disciples
and followers of Jesus Christ
(the first Christians) risked
being tortured, crucified,
beheaded, or other horrific
deaths all in order to spread
the gospel of Jesus Christ
around the world. Otherwise
we non-Jewish people
would never have even heard
about Jesus Christ's
teachings or His
salvation message!

Many of the Jews of Jesus
Christ's time rejected Him as
their Messiah/Saviour
because they were looking
for a Messiah King that
would free them from
Roman rule instead of a
suffering servant who
would die on a cross
between two thieves. We
non-Jews have been
given the opportunity to
choose Jesus Christ as
our personal Saviour
and spend eternity in
heaven with Him
because of the Jews'
faithful witness.

I would say we owe the
Jewish people our heartfelt
thanks for all that they
have done for giving us a
chance at these eternal
blessings!
