Jesus Cares About Prostitutes And Adulterers

Jesus cares about prostitutes
and adulterers; but he wants
them to repent of their sins
(be sorry enough for them
and to turn away from them.
In other words to stop
committing that sin).

God says we are all sinners.

We are all in the same boat.

Luke

13:3 I tell you, Nay: but,
except ye repent, ye shall
all likewise perish.

Good news at the bottom
of this post tells you how
to get saved from your
sins and know that you
are going to heaven when
you die. There is such
comfort and freedom
knowing that you never
again have to worry
about what comes
after death!

Jesus did not condemn the
woman caught in adultery*;
but he did tell her to "Go,
and sin no more". Read
about it below.

*Adultery is defined as:

(1) a married person having
an intimate relationship with
someone who is not their
spouse; or

(2) a single person having
an intimate relationship
with a married person
who is not their spouse.

John

8:1 Jesus went unto the
mount of Olives.

8:2 And early in the
morning he came again
into the temple, and all
the people came unto
him; and he sat down,
and taught them.

8:3 And the scribes and
Pharisees brought unto him
a woman taken in adultery;
and when they had set her
in the midst,

8:4 They say unto him,
Master, this woman was
taken in adultery, in the
very act.

8:5 Now Moses in the law
commanded us, that such
should be stoned: but
what sayest thou?

8:6 This they said, tempting
him, that they might have
to accuse him. But Jesus
stooped down, and with
his finger wrote on the
ground, as though he
heard them not.

8:7 So when they continued
asking him, he lifted up
himself, and said unto
them, He that is without
sin among you, let him
first cast a stone at her.

8:8 And again he stooped
down, and wrote on the
ground.

8:9 And they which heard
it, being convicted by
their own conscience
went out one by one,
beginning at the eldest,
even unto the last: and
Jesus was left alone,
and the woman standing
in the midst.

8:10 When Jesus had lifted
up himself, and saw none
but the woman, he said
unto her, Woman, where
are those thine accusers?
hath no man condemned
thee?

8:11 She said, No man,
Lord. And Jesus said unto
her, Neither do I condemn
thee: go, and sin no more.

1 John

1:9 If we confess our sins
[to God in heaven], he is
faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

The prostitute who anointed
Jesus' feet in Simon the
Pharisee's house was
repentant of her sins
(sorry for them).

Luke

7:37 And, behold, a woman
in the city, which was a
sinner, when she knew
that Jesus sat at meat in
the Pharisee's house,
brought an alabaster box
of ointment,

7:38 And stood at his feet
behind him weeping, and
began to wash his feet
with tears, and did wipe
them with the hairs of
her head, and kissed
his feet, and anointed
them with the ointment.

7:39 Now when the
Pharisee which had
bidden him saw it, he
spake within himself,
saying, This man, if he
were a prophet, would
have known who and
what manner of
woman this is that
toucheth him: for she
is a sinner.

[Jesus read this Pharisee's
mind and knew that he
was condemning this
woman.]

7:40 And Jesus answering
said unto him, Simon, I
have somewhat to say
unto thee. And he saith,
Master, say on.

7:41 There was a certain
creditor which had two
debtors: the one owed
five hundred pence, and
the other fifty.

7:42 And when they had
nothing to pay, he frankly
forgave them both. Tell
me therefore, which of
them will love him most?

7:43 Simon answered and
said, I suppose that he, to
whom he forgave most.
And he said unto him,
Thou hast rightly judged.

7:44 And he turned to the
woman, and said unto
Simon, Seest thou this
woman? I entered into
thine house, thou gavest
me no water for my feet:
but she hath washed my
feet with tears, and
wiped them with the
hairs of her head.

7:45 Thou gavest me no
kiss: but this woman
since the time I came in
hath not ceased to kiss
my feet.

7:46 My head with oil thou
didst not anoint: but this
woman hath anointed my
feet with ointment.

7:47 Wherefore I say unto
thee, Her sins, which are
many, are forgiven; for
she loved much: but to
whom little is forgiven,
the same loveth little.

7:48 And he said unto
her, Thy sins are forgiven.

7:49 And they that sat at
meat with him began to say
within themselves, Who is
this that forgiveth sins
also?

7:50 And he said to the
woman, Thy faith hath
saved thee; go in peace.

The woman of Samaria
had had five
"husbands", then
trusted in Jesus Christ
as her Messiah (Saviour).

John

4:1 When therefore the
Lord knew how the
Pharisees had heard
that Jesus made and
baptized more disciples
than John,

4:2 (Though Jesus
himself baptized not,
but his disciples,)

4:3 He left Judaea, and
departed again into Galilee.

4:4 And he must needs
go through Samaria.

4:5 Then cometh he to a
city of Samaria, which is
called Sychar, near to
the parcel of ground
that Jacob gave to his
son Joseph.

4:6 Now Jacob's well was
there. Jesus therefore,
being wearied with his
journey, sat thus on the
well: and it was about
the sixth hour.

4:7 There cometh a woman
of Samaria to draw water:
Jesus saith unto her, Give
me to drink.

4:8 (For his disciples were
gone away unto the city to
buy meat.)

4:9 Then saith the woman
of Samaria unto him, How
is it that thou, being a Jew,
askest drink of me, which
am a woman of Samaria?
for the Jews have no
dealings with the
Samaritans.

4:10 Jesus answered
and said unto her, If
thou knewest the gift of
God, and who it is that
saith to thee, Give me
to drink; thou wouldest
have asked of him, and
he would have given
thee living water.

4:11 The woman saith unto
him, Sir, thou hast nothing
to draw with, and the well
is deep: from whence then
hast thou that living water?

4:12 Art thou greater than
our father Jacob, which
gave us the well, and
drank thereof himself,
and his children, and his
cattle?

4:13 Jesus answered and
said unto her, Whosoever
drinketh of this water shall
thirst again:

4:14 But whosoever drinketh
of the water that I shall give
him shall never thirst; but
the water that I shall give
him shall be in him a well
of water springing up into
everlasting life.

4:15 The woman saith unto
him, Sir, give me this water,
that I thirst not, neither
come hither to draw.

4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go,
call thy husband, and come
hither.

4:17 The woman answered
and said, I have no husband.
Jesus said unto her, Thou
hast well said, I have no
husband:

4:18 For thou hast had five
husbands; and he whom
thou now hast is not thy
husband: in that saidst
thou truly.

4:19 The woman saith unto
him, Sir, I perceive that
thou art a prophet

4:20 Our fathers worshipped
in this mountain; and ye say,
that in Jerusalem is the
place where men ought to
worship.

4:21 Jesus saith unto her,
Woman, believe me, the
hour cometh, when ye
shall neither in this
mountain, nor yet at
Jerusalem, worship the
Father.

4:22 Ye worship ye know
not what: we know what
we worship: for salvation
is of the Jews.

4:23 But the hour cometh,
and now is, when the true
worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in
truth: for the Father
seeketh such to worship
him.

4:24  God is a Spirit: and
they that worship him
must worship him in spirit
and in truth.

4:25 The woman saith
unto him, I know that
Messias cometh, which is
called Christ: when he is
come, he will tell us all
things.

4:26 Jesus saith unto
her, I that speak unto
thee am he.

4:27 And upon this came
his disciples, and
marvelled that he talked
with the woman: yet no
man said, What seekest
thou? or, Why talkest thou
with her?

4:28 The woman then left
her waterpot, and went
her way into the city, and
saith to the men,

4:29 Come, see a man,
which told me all things
that ever I did: is not this
the Christ?

4:30 Then they went out of
the city, and came unto him.

4:31 In the mean while his
disciples prayed him, saying,
Master, eat.

4:32 But he said unto
them, I have meat to eat
that ye know not of.

4:33 Therefore said the
disciples one to another,
Hath any man brought him
ought to eat?

4:34 Jesus saith unto
them, My meat is to do
the will of him that sent
me, and to finish his work.

4:35 Say not ye, There
are yet four months, and
then cometh harvest?
behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and
look on the fields; for
they are white already
to harvest.

4:36 And he that reapeth
receiveth wages, and
gathereth fruit unto life
eternal: that both he
that soweth and he
that reapeth may rejoice
together.

4:37 And herein is that
saying true, One soweth,
and another reapeth.

4:38 I sent you to reap that
whereon ye bestowed no
labour: other men laboured,
and ye are entered into
their labours.

4:39 And many of the
Samaritans of that city
believed on him for the
saying of the woman, which
testified, He told me all
that ever I did.

4:40 So when the Samaritans
were come unto him, they
besought him that he would
tarry with them: and he
abode there two days.

4:41 And many more
believed because of his
own word;

4:42 And said unto the
woman, Now we believe,
not because of thy saying:
for we have heard him
ourselves, and know that
this is indeed the Christ,
the Saviour of the world.

Rahab, the harlot, saved
the Israelite messengers,
and she trusted in their
God, the God of the Bible.

Joshua

2:1 And Joshua the son of
Nun sent out of Shittim
two men to spy secretly,
saying, Go view the land,
even Jericho. And they
went, and came into an
harlot's house, named
Rahab, and lodged there.

2:2 And it was told the
king of Jericho, saying,
Behold, there came men
in hither to night of the
children of Israel to
search out the country.

2:3 And the king of
Jericho sent unto
Rahab, saying, Bring
forth the men that are
come to thee, which
are entered into thine
house: for they be come
to search out all the
country.

2:8 And before they were
laid down, she came up
unto them upon the roof;

2:9 And she said unto the
men, I know that the
LORD hath given you
the land, and that your
terror is fallen upon us,
and that all the inhabitants
of the land faint because
of you.

2:10 For we have heard
how the LORD dried up
the water of the Red sea
for you, when ye came
out of Egypt; and what
ye did unto the two
kings of the Amorites,
that were on the other
side Jordan, Sihon and
Og, whom ye utterly
destroyed.

2:11 And as soon as we
had heard these things,
our hearts did melt,
neither did there remain
any more courage in
any man, because of
you: for the LORD your
God, he is God in
heaven above, and in
earth beneath.

2:12 Now therefore, I pray
you, swear unto me by the
LORD, since I have
shewed you kindness, that
ye will also shew
kindness unto my father's
house, and give me a
true token:

2:13 And that ye will save
alive my father, and my
mother, and my brethren,
and my sisters, and all
that they have, and
deliver our lives from
death.

2:14 And the men answered
her, Our life for yours, if
ye utter not this our
business. And it shall be,
when the LORD hath given
us the land, that we will
deal kindly and truly with
thee.

The Israelites (Jews) kept
their promise and saved
Rahab and her family
when they attacked
Jericho.

Joshua

6:17 And the city shall be
accursed, even it, and all
that are therein, to the
LORD: only Rahab the
harlot shall live, she and
all that are with her in
the house, because she
hid the messengers that
we sent.

6:23 And the young men
that were spies went in,
and brought out Rahab,
and her father, and her
mother, and her brethren,
and all that she had; and
they brought out all her
kindred, and left them
without the camp of
Israel.

6:25 And Joshua saved
Rahab the harlot alive,
and her father's household,
and all that she had; and
she dwelleth in Israel even
unto this day; because she
hid the messengers,
which Joshua sent to
spy out Jericho.

Rahab was mentioned
several times in the New
Testament because she
believed in the God of
the Israelites (the Jews);
and she helped their
messengers who were
sent to spy out the city
of Jericho to escape
capture.

Hebrews

11:31 By faith the harlot
Rahab perished not with
them that believed not,
when she had received
the spies with peace.

Rahab, the former harlot,
married Salmon who
was in the genealogical
line of Jesus Christ when
He lived on earth among
us! God is a forgiving and
merciful God who forgives
us when we repent of our
sins and ask for His
forgiveness of those sins!
See the genealogy
of Jesus Christ in the Book
of Matthew Chapter 1
in verses 1 through 16.
Here are some of those
verses to show you how
forgiving and merciful
God is to all of us who
are repentant sinners.

Matthew
1:5 And Salmon begat Booz
[Boaz] of Rachab [Rahab]
and Booz begat Obed of
Ruth; and Obed begat
Jesse;

(I skipped verses 6 through
15 to shorten this post.)

1:16 And Jacob begat
Joseph the husband of
Mary, of whom was born
Jesus, who is called Christ.

1 John

1:9 If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

NOW TO THAT GOOD
NEWS I TOLD YOU
ABOUT IN THE
BEGINNING OF THIS
POST - HOW TO BE
SAVED FROM YOUR
SINS AND GO TO
HEAVEN WHEN YOU
DIE:

God's Holy
Word, the King
James Bible,
tells us how:

FIRST, DEAR
READER, PLEASE
FORGIVE ME FOR
SOMETIMES USING
LARGE PRINT, OR
CAPITAL OR BOLD
LETTERS. I DO NOT
MEAN TO SOUND
LIKE I AM
SCREAMING. IT IS
JUST THAT SATAN
HATES THIS
MESSAGE AND
THE TEXT KEEPS
COMING OUT IN
VERY TINY
PRINT THAT IS
ALMOST
UNREADABLE.

NOW TO OUR
BIBLE STUDY:

Agree with
God in heaven
that you are
sinner and need
Saviour.
GOD
SAYS WE ARE
ALL SINNERS.
But keep reading
because there is
Good News for
you:

Romans 3:23
For all have
sinned, and
come short of the
glory of God;

Believe that Jesus
Christ, the Sinless
Son of God, died
on the cross to
pay for your sins
and mine. Three
days later He
rose from the
dead.

Romans 5:8
But God
commendeth
his love toward
us, in that, while
we were yet
sinners, Christ
died for us.

Repent of
trusting in
anything or
anyone other
than Jesus
Christ (i.e.
baptism, good
works, money/
tithes, man-made
church traditions,
or religious
ceremonies]
to save you.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of
righteousness
which we have
done, but
according to his
mercy he saved
us, by the
washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the
Holy Ghost;

Accept God's
Free Gift of
eternal life
through his
Sinless Son,
the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a
free gift to you;
but it cost Jesus
Christ his life!
You do not have
to work to earn
a Gift - It is free!

Romans 6:23
For the wages of
sin is death; but
the gift of God
is eternal life
through Jesus
Christ our Lord.

God tells us that
as many as
received Jesus
Christ as their
Saviour and
believed on his
name, he gave
them power to
become the sons
[and daughters]
of God the Father
in heaven!

John 1:12
But as many as
received him, to
them gave he
power to
become the
sons of God,
even to them
that believe
on his name.

So, if you just
accepted Jesus
Christ as your
personal Saviour
and asked God
the Father in
Heaven to forgive
you of your sins
and told Him that
you believe that
Jesus Christ, His
Sinless Son,
paid for your
sins on the
cross and rose
from the dead,
you are now a son
(or daughter) of
the living God of
heaven!

And when you die,
you will go
straight to heaven
to be with Jesus
Christ forever and
ever!

AND NOW THAT
YOU ARE A
CHRISTIAN, IT
IS IMPORTANT
TO LEARN HOW
TO LIVE A LIFE
THAT GLORIFIES
GOD IN HEAVEN.

I AM SAVED?'
