Why Does The World Hate Christians?

It should not surprise us
Christians if we are hated
because Jesus Christ
warned us it would happen.
Jesus said that the
unbelieving world would
hate us, his followers,
just as they hated him
when he was on earth.
And many unbelievers
still hate him to this day.
But, the Good News is
that our Real Home is
in Heaven!

Bold in Scriptures is
for emphasis.

Words of the Lord
and Saviour of the
world, Jesus
Christ, are in red.

John
15:18 If the world hate
you, ye know that it
hated me before it hated
you.

15:19 If ye were of the
world, the world would
love his own: but
because ye are not of
the world, but I have
chosen you out of
the world, therefore
the world hateth you.

Please keep reading
because there is Good
News coming further
in this post.

Jesus Christ also said that
we would be persecuted
just as He was persecuted,
because the world does
not know God the
Father in heaven who
sent His only begotten
Sinless Son to earth to
die for our sins and be
raised from the dead.

John
15:20 Remember the word
that I said unto you, The
servant is not greater
than his lord. If they
have persecuted me,
they will also persecute
you; if they have kept
my saying, they will
keep yours also.

15:21 But all these things
will they do unto you for
my name's sake, becaus
they know not him that
sent me.

Jesus Christ said that He
was hated without a cause
You can see that same
thing happening to many
Christians today. I believe
that is because Satan's
time is getting short as we
are living in the End Times;
and Satan wants to stop as
many people as he can
from accepting Jesus
Christ as their Saviour
before he (Satan) gets
thrown into lake of fire
for all of eternity.

John 15:25

But this cometh to pass,
that the word might be
fulfilled that is written in
their law, They hated
me without a cause.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary
the devil [Satan], as a
roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom
he may devour:

Jesus Christ also said that
there would come a time
when people would think
they did a service to God
if they killed His followers
(see John 11:47-53 below).
You see that happening in
the news in the Middle
East today - Christians
and Jews and other
faiths (other than Islam)
are being martyred daily.
The same thing happened
when Jesus Christ was on
the earth. The chief priests
and Pharisees (religious
leaders) thought that they
were saving their nation
by having Jesus Christ
put to death.

John 16:2

They shall put you out of the
synagogues: yea, the time
cometh, that whosoever
killeth you will think that
he doeth God service.

John

11:47 Then gathered the
chief priests and the
Pharisees a council, and
said, What do we? for this
man [Jesus Christ] doeth
many miracles.

11:48 If we let him thus
alone, all men will believe
on him: and the Romans
shall come and take away
both our place and nation.

11:49 And one of them,
named Caiaphas, being
the high priest that same
year, said unto them,
Ye know nothing at all,

11:50 Nor consider that
it is expedient [profitable
useful] for us, that one
man should die for the
people, and that the
whole nation perish not.

11:51 And this spake he not
of himself: but being high
priest that year, he
prophesied that Jesus
should die for that
nation;

11:52 And not for that
nation only, but that also
he should gather together
in one the children of
God that were scattered
abroad.

11:53 Then from that day
forth they took counsel
together for to put him
to death.

The Good News!

John 16:33 (Jesus said:)

These things I have spoken
unto you, that in me ye
might have peace. In the
world ye shall have
tribulation: but be of good
cheer; I have overcome
the world.

Jesus Christ also said that
he would NEVER leave
us or forsake us. He sent
his Holy Spirit to live inside
of all true believers
forever; and he called
the Holy Spirit the
Comforter.

Hebrews 13:5b
...for he [Jesus Christ] hath
said, I will never leave thee,
nor forsake thee.

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father
[in heaven], and he shall
give you another
Comforter, that he may
abide with you for ever;

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which
is the Holy Ghost, whom
the Father will send in my
name, he shall teach you
all things, and bring all
things to your
remembrance, whatsoever
I have said unto you.

Jesus Christ said that we
should not to be troubled,
nor be afraid. He wants us
to trust in Him, and He will
give us his kind of peace,
not as the world gives. His
peace is that sense of
calmness as we stay close
to him (the Prince of
Peace) all day long. I know
that sounds easy to say, and
hard to do. But we need to
try to focus on how powerful
and strong Jesus Christ is,
and not focus on our
circumstances. If we
practice doing that, he
says we will experience
peace from the Prince
of Peace.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my
peace I give unto you: not
as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid.

Jesus Christ said that we
should not be afraid of those
who can kill our body; but to
be afraid of the one who
has the power to cast you
into hell (that is God the
Father Almighty in heaven).
That should make you
want to accept God's free
gift of salvation through
faith in Jesus Christ.
Keep reading to see how
to do that.

Luke

12:4 And I say unto you my
friends, Be not afraid of them
that kill the body, and after
that have no more that they
can do.

12:5 But I will forewarn you
whom ye shall fear: Fear
him, which after he hath
killed hath power to cast
into hell; yea, I say unto
you, Fear him.

The Apostle Paul told us that
as soon as we die, we
believers will immediately
be in the presence of our
precious Lord and Saviour,
Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, I say,
and willing rather to be
absent from the body,
and to be present with
the Lord.

The Apostle John told us
that when we get to
heaven there will be no
more death, sorrow,
crying, or pain; and
that God would wipe
away all our tears!

Revelation 21:4

And God shall wipe away
all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no
more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be
any more pain: for
the former things are
passed away.

Jesus Christ said that we
would have tribulation in
this world; but to be of
good cheer because
remember this:

IN THE END JESUS
CHRIST WINS! AND
WE WHO HAVE
ACCEPTED HIM AS
OUR PERSONAL
SAVIOUR WIN WITH
HIM!

The Bible says that after
death, God will judge those
people who have rejected
His only begotten Son,
Jesus Christ, as their
Saviour.

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed
unto men once to die, but
after this the judgment:

John

3:36 He that believeth on
the Son [Jesus Christ]
hath everlasting life: and
he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God
abideth on him.

How Can I Get To Heaven?

How can I be saved
from my sins and know
that I will go to heaven
when I die? God's Holy
Word, the King James
Bible, tells us how:

Agree with God in
heaven that you are
sinner and need
Saviour. GOD SAYS
WE ARE ALL
SINNERS. But keep
reading because
there is Good News
for you:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned,
and come short of the
glory of God;

Be willing to turn from
your sin (repent).

Acts 17:30
And the times of this
ignorance God winked
at; but now commandeth
all men every where to
repent:

Believe that Jesus
Christ, the Sinless Son
of God, shed his blood
on the cross to pay
for your sins and
mine, was buried,
and that three
days later He rose
from the dead.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

Repent of trusting in
anything or anyone
other than Jesus
Christ (i.e. baptism,
good works, idols,
false gods, $/tithes
man-made church
rules or traditions,
or religious
ceremonies) to
save you.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of
righteousness which we
have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy
Ghost;

Jesus said that we do
not get to heaven by our
good works (stuff we
have done). See verses
7:22 and 7:23 below!

Matthew
7:21 Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the
will of my Father which
is in heaven.

7:22 Many will say to
me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy
name? and in thy
name have cast
out devils? and in
thy name done
many wonderful
works?

7:23 And then will I
profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.

Accept God's Free
Gift of eternal life
through his Sinless
Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a free gift
to you, but it cost Jesus
Christ his life! You do
not have to work to
earn a Gift - It is free!

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of
God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ
our Lord.

Ask Jesus Christ to be
your personal Saviour
and Lord of your life.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall
call upon the name
of the Lord shall be
saved.

So, if you did that and
sincerely meant it,
then you are now a
Christian! Welcome
to the family.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

And when you die, you
will go straight to heaven
to be with Jesus Christ
forever and ever! The
following Bible verse
is one of my favorites.
It gave me comfort when
I went through double
breast cancer surgery
for I knew that if I died
on the operating table
I would immediately be
in heaven with Jesus!
Knowing that is why I
no longer fear what
comes after death.
What freedom there is
in knowing that.

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say,
and willing rather to be
absent from the body,
and to be present with
the Lord.

One note to all dear
Catholics: The Catholic
church says that it is
wrong to believe that
you can know you are
saved before you die.
Please think about
this: God is a God of
love. After all he sent
his Son to die for your
sins so you could be
with him in heaven for
eternity! That is love!
Why would a God of love
want you to worry all of
your life whether you will
go to heaven or hell when
you die? God in heaven
wants us to have peace
and joy in this life as we
live for him and draw
others to him as their
Saviour. Only a cruel
God would want us
worried and stressed
about what comes after
death. But GOD LOVES
YOU and wants you to
have peace knowing that
you are saved now and
can know now that you
are going to heaven when
you die! Please trust your
loving heavenly Father's
Holy Word (the King James
Bible) when God tells you
that you will be with Him
after death if you trusted
Jesus Christ as your
Saviour!

And now that you have
become a Christian, it
is important to learn how
to live a life that glorifies
God in heaven who gave
you the Gift of salvation.
