Hell Is Not A Party Place!

God's Holy Preserved
Word, the King James
Bible, tells us exactly
what hell will be like.
Read what God says
about hell, and then
you decide whether
it is where you want
to spend eternity or
not.

God originally created
hell for the devil
(Satan) and his
fallen angels (devils).
But hell is also the
eternal home of
everyone who
rejects God's
Way into His
Holy Heaven.

Words in red are
those of the Lord
Jesus Christ.

Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say
also unto them on the
left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting
fire, prepared for
the devil and his
angels:

Please keep reading
to learn more about
this so-called 'party
place'. It's pretty
scary!

Hell is a place of
complete darkness.
You will not be seeing
anyone else in that
complete darkness,
let alone having a
party with your
friends! I cannot
imagine being in
the dark forever.
Can you?

2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared
not the angels that
sinned, but cast
them down to
hell, and delivered
them into chains
of darkness, to be
reserved unto
judgment;

In hell you will have
no rest day or night.
Can you imagine being
very tired and not ever
being able to rest -
ever again?

Revelation 14:11
And the smoke of their
torment ascendeth up
for ever and ever: and
they have no rest
day or night, who
worship the beast
and his image, and
whosoever receiveth
the mark of his name.

Hell is a place burning
with smoke and
brimstone which will
torment those who
go there for ever
and ever. Brimstone
is defined as sulfur
which has no smell
unless it is heated
and then it really
stinks. I used to live
near a sulfur plant,
and I sure would not
want to smell that
stink through all of
eternity! (Note also
in verse 11 it says
that those in hell
are tormented "for
ever and ever".)

Revelation
14:10 The same shall
drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is
poured out without
mixture into the cup
of his indignation; and
he shall be
tormented with
fire and brimstone
in the presence of
the holy angels, and
in the presence of
the Lamb:

14:11 And the
smoke of their
torment ascendeth
up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest
day nor night, who
worship the beast
and his image, and
whosoever
receiveth the
mark of his name.

Hell is a place where
worms will not die.
Why is that significant?
The next 4 verses in
Isaiah are specifically
talking about Lucifer
(renamed Satan after
he sinned against
God) being in hell
covered in worms.
This explains just
how horrible it will
be for those who
end up in hell! Jesus
warned people about
hell being a place
where their "worm
dieth not", and he
repeats this warning
several times to get
our attention! This
tells us that those
in hell will be
tormented for all
of eternity covered
in these worms!
don't know about
you, but that creeps
me out! I saw a
movie that depicted
this covering of worms
as the worms being
under the skin and
constantly crawling.
Yikes. I don't know
if that's how it will be,
but in any case being
covered in worms
does not sound like
something you'd
want for all of
eternity!

Isaiah
14:9 Hell from
beneath is moved
for thee to meet thee
at thy coming: it
stirreth up the dead
for thee, even all the
chief ones of the
earth; it hath raised
up from their
thrones all the
kings of the nations.

14:10  All they shall
speak and say unto
thee, Art thou also
become weak as
we? art thou
become like unto
us?

14:11 Thy pomp is
brought down to the
grave, and the noise
of thy viols: the worm
is spread under thee,
and the worms cover
thee.

14:12 How art thou
fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the
morning! how art
thou cut down to the
ground, which didst
weaken the nations!

14:13 For thou hast
said in thine heart,
I will ascend into
heaven, I will exalt
my throne above
the stars of God: I
will sit also upon
the mount of the
congregation, in
the sides of the
north:

14:14 I will ascend
above the heights
of the clouds; I will
be like the most High.

14:15 Yet thou shalt
be brought down
to hell, to the sides
of the pit.

Isaiah 66:24
And they shall go forth,
and look upon the
carcases of the men
that have transgressed
against me: for their
worm shall not die,
neither shall their fire
be quenched; and
they shall be an
abhorring unto all
flesh.

When God's Word
tells us the same
thing more than one
time, it is because
God wants us to
pay attention to
what he is warning
us about! Jesus
repeats the following
verse three times
in the same chapter!

Mark
9:44 Where their worm
dieth not, and the
fire is not quenched.

9:46
Where their worm
dieth not, and the fire
is not quenched.

9:48
Where their worm
dieth not, and the fire
is not quenched.

In hell there will be
weeping and gnashing
of teeth. "Gnashing
of teeth" is defined
as 'a grinding of the
teeth in rage or
anguish'. Imagine
doing that for all of
eternity!

Matthew 22:13
Then said the
king to the servants,
Bind him hand and
foot, and take him
away, and cast
him into outer
darkness; there
shall be weeping
and gnashing of
teeth.

Jesus warned people
that hell is a place
where the fire never
stops burning! Pay
attention that Jesus
repeats this multiple
times to warn us so
we don't end up in
hell! Imagine being
in a fire that never
goes out - and
suffering that for
all of eternity!

Mark
9:43 And if thy hand
offend thee, cut it off:
it is better for thee
to enter into life
maimed, than having
two hands to go
into hell, into the
fire that never
shall be quenched:

9:44 Where their worm
dieth not, and the
fire is not quenched.

9:45 And if thy foot
offend thee, cut it off:
it is better for thee to
enter halt into life,
than having two feet
to be cast into hell,
into the fire that
never shall be
quenched:

9:46 Where their worm
dieth not, and the
fire is not
quenched.

9:47 And if thine eye
offend thee, pluck it
out: it is better for
thee to enter into
the kingdom of God
with one eye, than
having two eyes to
be cast into hell fire:

9:48 Where their worm
dieth not, and the fire
is not quenched.

Jesus told this true
story of a rich man
and a beggar named
Lazarus and described
what hell is like from
the perspective of
the rich man who
was suffering in
the flames of hell.

Also hellfire is a
place where there
is extreme thirst
and no water to
quench that thirst -
for all of eternity!

But after the following
Bible verses that
describe the true
story Jesus told of the
rich man in hell, there
is some really good
news for you ahead!
Oh, and the rich man
is not in hell because
he is rich. It has to do
with him not repenting
of (being sorry for)
of his sins. In the end
of this true story the rich
man says his brothers
would repent if a dead
man went back to
earth and told him
the truth about what
hell is really like. But
Jesus said that if he
didn't believe God's
Holy Word about hell,
he would not believe
someone who came
back from the dead.

Luke
16:19 There was a
certain rich man, which
was clothed in purple
and fine linen, and
fared sumptuously
every day:

16:20 And there was
a certain beggar
named Lazarus
which was laid at
his gate, full of
sores,

16:21 And desiring
to be fed with the
crumbs which fell
from the rich man's
table: moreover the
dogs came and
licked his sores.

16:22 And it came to
pass, that the beggar
died, and was carried
by the angels into
Abraham's bosom:
the rich man also
died, and was buried;

16:23 And in hell he
lift up his eyes,
being in torments,
and seeth Abraham
afar off, and
Lazarus in his bosom.

16:24 And he cried
and said, Father
Abraham, have
mercy on me, and
send Lazarus [the
beggar]that he
may dip the tip
of his finger in
water, and cool
my tongue; for I
am tormented in
this flame.

16:25 But Abraham
said, Son, remember
that thou in thy
lifetime receivedst
thy good things,
and likewise
Lazarus evil things:
but now he is
comforted, and
thou art tormented.

16:26 And beside all
this, between us
and you there is a
great gulf fixed: so
that they which
would pass from
hence to you cannot;
neither can they pass
to us, that would
come from thence.

16:27 Then he said,
I pray thee therefore,
father, that thou
wouldest send him
to my father's house:

16:28 For I have five
brethren; that he may
testify unto them,
lest they also come
into this place of torment.

16:29 Abraham saith
unto him, They have
Moses and the
prophets; let them
hear them.

16:30 And he said,
Nay, father Abraham:
but if one went unto
them from the dead,
they will repent.

16:31 And he said unto
him, If they hear not
Moses and the
prophets, neither
will they be persuaded,
though one rose
from the dead.

How do we avoid going
to hell and instead know
we are going to heaven
when we die? Here's
how God's Holy Word,
the King James Bible,
tells us how:

Agree with God in
heaven that you are
sinner and need
Saviour. GOD SAYS
WE ARE ALL
SINNERS. But keep
reading because
there is Good News
for you:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned,
and come short of the
glory of God;

Believe that Jesus
Christ, the Sinless Son
of God, shed his blood
on the cross to pay
for your sins (and
mine). Three days later
He rose from the dead.

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth
his love toward us, in
that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ
died for us.

Repent of trusting in
anything or anyone
other than Jesus
Christ (i.e. baptism,
good works, money/tithes
man-made church rules
or traditions, or religious
ceremonies) to save you.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of
righteousness which we
have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy
Ghost;

Jesus said that we do
not get to heaven by our
good works (stuff we
have done). See verses
7:22 and 7:23 below!

Matthew
7:21 Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the
will of my Father which
is in heaven.

7:22 Many will say to
me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy
name? and in thy
name have cast
out devils? and in
thy name done
many wonderful
works?

7:23 And then will I
profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.

Accept God's Free
Gift of eternal life
through his Sinless
Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a free gift
to you, but it cost Jesus
Christ his life! You do
not have to work to
earn a Gift - It is free!

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of
God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ
our Lord.

God tells us that as
many as received
Jesus Christ as their
Saviour and believed
on his name (trusted
him as Saviour), he
gave them power to
become the sons
(and daughters) of
God the Father in
heaven!

John 1:12
But as many as received
him [trusted Jesus], to
them gave he power to
become the sons of God,
even to them that
believe on his name.

So, if you confessed to
God in heaven that you
are a sinner in need of
a Saviour, and you
believe that Jesus Christ
died for your sins and
that God raised him
from the dead, then
you shall be saved.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

And when you die, you
will go straight to heaven
to be with Jesus Christ
forever and ever! The
following Bible verse
is one of my favorites.
It gave me comfort when
I went through double
breast cancer surgery
for I knew that if I died
on the operating table
I would immediately be
in heaven with Jesus!
Knowing that is why I
no longer fear what
comes after death.
What freedom there is
in knowing that.

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say,
and willing rather to be
absent from the body,
and to be present with
the Lord.

One note to all dear
Catholics: The Catholic
church says that it is
wrong to believe that
you can know you are
saved before you die.
Please think about
this: God is a God of
love. After all he sent
his Son to die for your
sins so you could be
with him in heaven for
eternity! That is love!
Why would a God of love
want you to worry all of
your life whether you will
go to heaven or hell when
you die? God in heaven
wants us to have peace
and joy in this life as we
live for him and draw
others to him as their
Saviour. Only a cruel
God would want us
worried and stressed
about what comes after
death. But GOD LOVES
YOU and wants you to
have peace knowing that
you are saved now and
can know now that you
are going to heaven when
you die! Please trust your
loving heavenly Father's
Holy Word (the King James
Bible) when God tells you
that you will be with Him
after death if you trusted
Jesus Christ as your
Saviour!

And now that you have
become a Christian, it
is important to learn how
to live a life that glorifies
God in heaven who gave
you the Gift of salvation.
