Do Babies Go To Heaven?

God has put it on my
heart to do this Bible
study. What does
God's Holy Word,
the King James Bible,
have to say about this
question?

Bold in Scripture
verses is for
emphasis.

Words of Jesus
Christ are in red.

God says that we ALL
(every person ever
born on earth, except
for Jesus Christ, the
Sinless Son of God)
inherited a sin
nature from Adam,
the first man God
created.

Romans
5:12 Wherefore, as by
one man [Adam] sin
entered into the world,
and death by sin; and
so death passed upon
all men [people], for
that all have sinned:

But, please keep
reading because
there is good news
coming!

First of all, Jesus Christ,
the Son of God, told his
disciples to allow
infants (babies) to be
brought to him
because these
little ones are of the
kingdom of God!

Luke
18:15 And they brought
unto him also infants
that he would touch
them: but when his
disciples saw it, they
rebuked [silenced]
them.

18:16 But Jesus called
them unto him, and said,
Suffer [allow] little
children to come unto
me, and forbid them
not: for of such is
the kingdom of God.

These next Bible verses
show us that infants and
little children are too
young to have reached
the age of accountability
when they are old enough
to know the difference
between choosing to
do good and refusing
to do evil.

Isaiah 7:16 (a)
For before the child shall
know to refuse the evil,
and choose the good,

Deuteronomy 1:39 (a)
Moreover your little
oneswhich ye said
should be a prey, and
your children, which in
that day had no
knowledge between
good and evil,

Now, here is information
from God's Holy Word,
the King James Bible,
that babies do go to
heaven when they die!

You can read this true story
about King David in the
Bible Book of 2 Samuel,
verses 11:1-2 to Samuel
12:23. Here is the gist of
the story:

King David and Bathsheba
(wife of Uriah, one of
David's soldiers),
committed adultery.
When David found
out Bathsheba was
pregnant, he gave
orders to Joab, his
army commander,
telling him that Uriah
(Bathsheba's husband)
should be put at the
front of the "hottest
battle" so that he
would be killed (in
order to cover up
David's sin of adultery
and Bathsheba's
pregnancy.)

Nathan, the prophet,
was sent by God to
David to point out by
telling him a story that
convicted David of his
sin against God and
against Uriah
(Bathsheba's husband);
and to tell David that
the consequence of his
sins would be that
their baby would get
sick and die. David
admitted to Nathan
his sin against God and
acknowledged that he
was sorry for his sins
(he repented). Then,
even though Nathan
had told him that their
baby would die, David
continued to fast (do
without food to spend
time in prayer) hoping
that the baby would
not die. But the child
did become very ill
and did die. There are
consequences to our
sins which usually
affect other people
around us.

After the baby died,
David got up, washed
himself, changed his
clothes, worshiped in
the LORD's house,
and then began to
eat a meal. His servants
asked David why he had
quit fasting and why he
had gotten up and
eaten once his baby
had died. David replied
that now the child was
dead, it would not help
the baby if he fasted.
David added that he
knew that the baby
could not return to him,
but he knew that when
he (himself) died, that
he would go to be with
his son (in heaven).
David was telling us
that he knew his baby
was in heaven, and
that he would see his
baby when he died
and joined him there!
What a loving message
from God, our loving,
heavenly Father, who
wanted us to know
that babies do go to
heaven when they die!

My prayer is that these
Bible verses in 2 Samuel,
verses 11:1-2  to Samuel
12:23 bring comfort to you
that your baby or your little
child who has died is truly
in heaven with Jesus
Christ, who loves little
children!

You may want to read
my Bible study called
'Jesus Loves Little
Children'. Link here.

And, if you have already
accepted Jesus Christ
as your personal Saviour,
you can know (because
of King David's own
testimony as a
believer) that you
will see your baby
when you get to heaven!

But if you do not know
how to be saved from
your sins and go to
heaven when you die to
be with your baby forever,
here is how.

How Can I Get To Heaven?

How can I be saved
from my sins and know
that I will go to heaven
when I die? God's Holy
Word, the King James
Bible, tells us how:

Agree with God in
heaven that you are
sinner and need
Saviour. GOD SAYS
WE ARE ALL
SINNERS. But keep
reading because
there is Good News
for you:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned,
and come short of the
glory of God;

Be willing to turn from
your sin (repent).

Acts 17:30
And the times of this
ignorance God winked
at; but now commandeth
all men every where to
repent:

Believe that Jesus
Christ, the Sinless Son
of God, shed his blood
on the cross to pay
for your sins and
mine, was buried,
and that three
days later He rose
from the dead.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

Repent of trusting in
anything or anyone
other than Jesus
Christ (i.e. baptism,
good works, idols,
false gods, $/tithes
man-made church
rules or traditions,
or religious
ceremonies) to
save you.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of
righteousness which we
have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of
regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy
Ghost;

Jesus said that we do
not get to heaven by our
good works (stuff we
have done). See verses
7:22 and 7:23 below!

Matthew
7:21 Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the
will of my Father which
is in heaven.

7:22 Many will say to
me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy
name? and in thy
name have cast
out devils? and in
thy name done
many wonderful
works?

7:23 And then will I
profess unto them,
I never knew you:
depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.

Accept God's Free
Gift of eternal life
through his Sinless
Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ. It is a free gift
to you, but it cost Jesus
Christ his life! You do
not have to work to
earn a Gift - It is free!

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift of
God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ
our Lord.

Ask Jesus Christ to be
your personal Saviour
and Lord of your life.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall
call upon the name
of the Lord shall be
saved.

So, if you did that and
sincerely meant it,
then you are now a
Christian! Welcome
to the family.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God
hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt
be saved.

And when you die, you
will go straight to heaven
to be with Jesus Christ
forever and ever! The
following Bible verse
is one of my favorites.
It gave me comfort when
I went through double
breast cancer surgery
for I knew that if I died
on the operating table
I would immediately be
in heaven with Jesus!
Knowing that is why I
no longer fear what
comes after death.
What freedom there is
in knowing that.

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say,
and willing rather to be
absent from the body,
and to be present with
the Lord.

One note to all dear
Catholics: The Catholic
church says that it is
wrong to believe that
you can know you are
saved before you die.
Please think about
this: God is a God of
love. After all he sent
his Son to die for your
sins so you could be
with him in heaven for
eternity! That is love!
Why would a God of love
want you to worry all of
your life whether you will
go to heaven or hell when
you die? God in heaven
wants us to have peace
and joy in this life as we
live for him and draw
others to him as their
Saviour. Only a cruel
God would want us
worried and stressed
about what comes after
death. But GOD LOVES
YOU and wants you to
have peace knowing that
you are saved now and
can know now that you
are going to heaven when
you die! Please trust your
loving heavenly Father's
Holy Word (the King James
Bible) when God tells you
that you will be with Him
after death if you trusted
Jesus Christ as your
Saviour!

And now that you have
become a Christian, it
is important to learn how
to live a life that glorifies
God in heaven who gave
you the Gift of salvation.
